![]() | ![]() nPowertek Nehalem NPH 1366-140HC nPowertek (TTIC) is one of the first to have a Nehalem HSF ready for production. With Intel launching their new socket S1366 motherboards next month we'll need new heatsinks which can fit these boards. The NPH 1336-140HC comes with a custom designed 92mm fan which features advanced PWM support to allow for low noise operation when the CPU is running cool. The heatsink has a copper heat column in the middle which drastically improves performance while the aluminum fins will keep cost and weight down. The full specifications of this new heatsinks are listed below: While some heatsinks may have custom brackets to allow them to be mounted on the new Nehalem platform, there is remains the fact that the actual CPU is larger too so the contact area is bigger. For more information about nPowertek and their heat pipe and heat column technology please visit: http://www.npowertek.com/
