| Comcast Begins Limited IPv6 Rollout to Home Customers Starting small and finishing big is the methodology of Comcast in its rollout of the new IPv6 protocol. Comcast announced this week that it will be starting out with Pleasanton, California as the pilot program for the deployment of IPv6. The deployment is small both in its size and scope, but is the preferred method of Comcast. "Our approach is an incremental one and we felt it was important to get started now, with a small subset of customers, and then build upon that in the future." http://www.hardocp.com/news/2011/11/...e_custom ers/ |
