| AMD slashes prices, intros rebates on chips Distributor prices seen by the INQ show that the Athlon 64 3000 will cost $89, the 3200 $99, the 3500 $109, and the 3800 $139. In the last case, that's a 50 per cent drop.

| just picked up a 3800 (single core) for 148€ !! not bad for a CPU with 12 multiplier Funny thing is the sempron 3600+ is still priced at 126€ |
