 |  AMD Ryzen 5 4500U Review: Mid-Range Zen 2 Beats Intel's Best This is our first review of AMD's Ryzen Mobile 4000 U-series processors, the low power variants intended for slim, light, ultraportable laptops. Our exploration will start in the mid-range with the Ryzen 5 4500U, a 6 core and 6 thread part with a 2.3 GHz base and 4.0 GHz boost, alongside 8 MB of L3 cache and 6 Vega GPU compute units clocked up to 1500 MHz.
