The RX 5500 support and GRID optimizations

AMD has released its latest Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1 graphics driver which adds support for the newely announced Radeon RX 5500 and RX 5500M graphics cards, brings day-zero optimizations for GRID game and fixes some bugs.

According to the release notes, the Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1 driver adds support for both desktop Radeon RX 5500 series and mobile RX 5500M graphics cards. It also adds game specific optimizations for upcoming Codemasters' GRID game, which should officially launch on October 11th.

The new driver release also fixes some problems, including an application and lighting corruption issues in Borderlands 3 when running on DirectX 12 API, display artifacts bugs on some 75Hz displays on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards, bugs with HDR on Radeon FreeSync 2 displays on Radeon RX 5700 series, and intermittently flash black bugs with Radeon Freesync when GPU is in idle or on desktop.

The new Radeon Software 19.10.1 driver is available for 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 10 and supports all graphics cards since Radeon HD 7700/HD 7900 days, as well as recent AMD APUs with Radeon and Vega graphics.
