 |  AMD axes Zen 3 support on 400-series motherboards In a surprising announcement, AMD last week said they would discontinue support for older chipsets with their upcoming Ryzen 4000 series, codenamed Zen 3. Some took this to mean 300 and 400 series motherboards would still support Zen 3 processors through unofficial means.
