Default ADATA announces XPG SX6000 Pro SSD lineup

Realtek controller with 3D TLC NAND

ADATA has unveiled its latest XPG SX6000 Pro SSD lineup which will be available in capacities of up to 1TB and use Realtek's controller in combination with 3D TLC NAND, reaching sequential performance of up to 2100/1400 MB/s.

Based on a standard M.2 2280 form-factor with PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and NVMe 1.3 protocol, the new ADATA XPG SX6000 SSD series will use Realtek's RTS5763DL controller in combination with 64-layer 3D TLC NAND. It will be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities and offer sequential read and write performance of up to 2100MB/s and 1400MB/s (1200 MB/s for the 256GB model).

When it comes to random 4k performance, the 256GB model peaks at 190k IOPS for read and 180k IOPS for write, while the 512GB and 1TB models peak at 250k IOPS and 240k IOPS.

It also comes with dynamic SLC caching, AES 256-bit encryption and is backed by a five year warranty, something not usually found on such entry- to mid-range SSDs.

ADATA was also keen to note that these are single-sided SSDs, making them compatible with ultra-thin notebooks and other systems.

According to our details, the new ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro SSD lineup should be available soon with a price set at $99.99 for the 256GB, $139.99 for the 512GB, and $249.99 for the 1TB model.
