Yea, well, I think, the guy that doesn't have a box of tissues next to his PC is nasty. Where will he blow his nose is eh. That's one sticky keyboard then... No really, it got up here when I had a cold and it never left. It's also usefull or cleanin up artcic silver and other thermal goops.

Anyway, the file server's PS is borked. Antec 300W, some time in the past it's fan stopped turning. I could get it to work by connecting the RPM monitor, but the damage was done, I think it got up to 70+°C. After this it already had problems with peek startup power with all drives attached at start. It went well if I pushed the 2 racks in when the others have spinned up. They were on a RAID controller, so they were detected after POST anyway. Now it won't even start with them out.
I'm probably putting a Zalman 400W PSU in there, anyone has some experience with those ??
OR should I buy enermax 350W. Sound is a factor, but reliability is more.

Hmmm, if I turn up my speakers My apeture grill starts vibrating.
I can see all kind of lines on my screen at certain frequencies.

You could do that or place a metal plate between your speakers and your monitor.
Or wrap them with aluminium foil.
Anyway, your speakers emit an electro magnetic field, your screen doesn't respond very well to this. :grum:

I know, but they are spaced aout 10-15cm from the screen.

anyway it's only a bit, at high volume and certain frequencies.

It's not easy to work wih keyboard ony when the mouse is charging.
And I let it drain and charge comletely to train the battery's a bit.
Anyone know if AA's are available inb Lintium-Ion.
Lithium-ion batteries are available in AA but not rechargeable. I think

That would kinda screw the idea of li-ion batteries.
Alkalines are still better batteries on the non recharge front.
