using Everglide for 4 years, it does deteriorate but not in a way that renders it useless, far from it actually

hmm, mine is almost 3 years, but parts of it are smooth as a baby's bottom by now.
however, during the 2.5 working years, i was very satisfied

Well I had two, the original black attack pad which I still use at work. However the first version of the optical smoke pad did deteriorate more and quicker, it was visible and the pad lost effectiveness.
