Default Freeware photo / audiio

Hi I want to share some FREEWARE programs I've found.

Have you ever wanted to listen to music (streaming audio) and the site gives you a choice between Windows Media Player and Real Player? OK maybe you don't want either or want Real Player maybe because it doesn't time-out. Whatever the reason, you try to download older versions of Realplayer because it's the only Freeware left, but now RealPlayerNetworks re-diects you to theor for sale version. here's the answer a tiny Codec program without an offensive GUI (Window). This Freeware Codec player is the best I've ever used you can download Media Player Classic from SourceForge.net below below;

Media Player Classic v.6.4.8.7.

PHOTOs - OK this is the absolute best FREEWARE photo-shop type program I've ever used. I actually like it much better then Photoshop which saves files with a proprietary extension. If you try to access any file saved or edited in Photoshop lets say you want to use a universal JPEG extentsion it's useless. This program is distrubuted by FasStone.org and by the way there are four other great image re-size, snapshot etc FREWARE programs you downlaod from this site as well. For Image Viewer click below for a direct download;

FastStone Image Veiwer v.2.29

If you don't absolutely love these programs you can come to my house and light my dog on fire.

[g]irfanview[/g] is my favourite photo editor, free also, it's batch resize & tag is very easy to use

Media Player Classic is recommended for everyone, much faster than Windows Media Player, and more supported formats (you can download plugins for .mov and .rm formats)

haven't tried the FastStone yet, but irfanview is so easy.. it'll be hard to beat

Faststone seems to have a much better GUI then Infraview. I love it for photo's it's just like Photoshop except free with universal extensions, such as this Pic edited with FastStone;

I use real alternative for real player files.

If you want to play quicktime files without having to install itunes etc. you can try QuickTime Alternative .

Have media player classic + irfanview installed default since ages

Only ontopic for the "freeware" part:
http://www.iceows.com/HomePageUS.html

Default freeware zip/unzip - program for 6 months or so. Winzip occasionally gave explorer-errors, 7zip gave random errors, iceows does BZ2 (needed for mysql - cronjob-dump)
