| what is the different between intel i7 and pentium III xeon? i purchaesd a new pc which should come with i7 920 with 6 Gb. however, board of trade in chicago, broker tested the functions and showed that the chip was actually pentium III xeon functioning ability. how could i VISUALLY compare an i7 with a pentium III xeon, pls? i searched and looked at several different pix on various location but i am still not too sure how to confront the cunning vendor? could someone help me out, pls? i have about 48 hours to confront the vendor? my email: nakachalet@gmail.com thx much for your assistance. |

| Jmke is right on there, go and download CPU-Z, and run the program, it will tell you everything you need to know. I wouldn't suggest physically looking at the chip - no offense intended, but the fact you need to ask this might be a hint that you shouldn't be pulling off the CPU fan to look. Also, you can just goto start>right click Computer> Your processor, RAM, and system type should be listed there. And Quote:
