just try to RMA the Ti 4200, it could work. glue the core back on the PCB, maybe they won't see it :p I'm Evil ..... you could use my XP 1800+ system, only you have to come and get it. there's a TNT2 M64 on it, good enough for surfing :super: |
Thanks for the help guys! I'm back online with one of JMke's folder. :super: @Gamer: That would be evil... Already glued the pieces together and glued the cooler on it with AS adhesive. I can always try... ;-) |

Owned MB's: Abit KG7: dead, production error, replaced by RMA MSI K7T266A: dead, voltmod, died a couple weeks after voltmod, replaced by shop Abit KR7A: survived. Sturdy mobo. :) MSI 845E: survived. But only because I sold it before i could break it. ;) Epox 8rda+: dead. Voltmod... Owned GFX's: GF2 Pro: dead. Don't know how i killed it, but there were heatsinks on the memchips so no RMA. GF1 DDR: near dead. Revived after pelt (water) accident. R8500: dead. bougth a voltmodded 8500LE and was DOA. RMA after a whopping 6 months. GF1 DDR#2: dead. Killed it with removing the heatsinks (as adhesive) i think. no RMA Ti4200: dead. Ripped of core. I've forgot even my most expensive card: Visiontek Ti4600. DOA. RMA, but payed €75 at customs. :( Edit: So, at the end, most was replaced. Except for the GF1's, but they weren't expensive. I did spend A LOT on shipping costs / customs though. :/ |
