I got a vr with one pin up, 2 down.
solder pin 1 on to card, pin 2 (left one if vr is down with the 2 pins).
Now i measure 0,40kohm from pin one to pin 2.
So, I'm ok ?

Do you increase voltage when in windows ?
When I increase voltage above 1.5, I get a freeze ?

So if you have only 0.4 resistence between pin 1 and 2, you mustn't solder those pins. Otherwise, you'll burn the card.

(Ps.: be sure to measure the resistence BEFORE you solder to the chip!)

jmke 27th June 2007 13:20

you got a photo of your VR gamer?

Gamer 27th June 2007 14:47

Vmod works, only when going above 1.7v it goes fast, a mm = 0,5v more.

Gamer 27th June 2007 15:35

Still stock cooler.

jmke 27th June 2007 15:36

good to know:)

Gamer 27th June 2007 15:38

I was supprised it can take that amount of heat, vgpu 1.8.
Just some extra coolers.

It must be a supercard :)

RichBa5tard 27th June 2007 15:50

Hello boy's, I'm baaaaaaaaack :)

Was done @ 3000mhz flat, still got that problem with wrong CPU speed.
No screen, sorry, got a BSOD after saving result :(
system doesn't boot anymore, don't know what happend.

Massman 11th July 2007 23:34

Phase change, I guess?

jmke 12th July 2007 07:59

very nice OC, if you run at max CPU speed with default settings you will get nice HWBot score:)

what cooling ?

easypanic 12th July 2007 11:41

chilly1 unit I guess ;)

jmke 12th July 2007 12:51

no guessing allowed:) we want certainty ;)

Massman 12th July 2007 13:01

FM orb down?

jmke 12th July 2007 13:19

yup

Gamer 12th July 2007 17:49

Yes, that Chilly one unit.
But, I guess it's faulty.
Just used it twice now for about 10 minutes, and the card already gives positive temperatures.
So, my guess is, unit is loosing gas somewhere.

Pardons 12th July 2007 17:55

933 is kinda low core speed :/

at dryice 1ghz was possible with ease...

You should easy do some 975 runs ^^

Only pencilmod on mem.
Hardmod realy needed here, hopefully I don't break this gem.

Check CPU speed :p

Massman 12th July 2007 21:23

multiplier detection fault by FM ;)

Cranox 12th July 2007 21:53

Pics of the setup ( and mounting :) ) pls.

jmke 13th July 2007 09:23

in combi met 4.5~5Ghz CPU had je 1st spot:)

Gamer 13th July 2007 09:50

I know, only this cpu is already tested on Dice, and it did 4500mhz.
Phase change should get it to 4300 mhz, I hope :)

Seems like the orb is down again, did some 03 benching on an empty stomach :p
taking back 2 spots for the team.

Massman 13th July 2007 09:52

at what voltage?

lods?

Gamer 13th July 2007 10:03

same voltage as before :)
I need a hardmod on the mem.
1.85v on GPU.
Didn't check the ramvoltage, but it shouldn't be much more than stock.
Oh, I got 19551 on 3D03, second spot on hwbot.
Taking first shouln't be difficult :)
