700 core is still great with stock cooling! Mine locks up when >660 with improved aircooling. |
A pencilmod would work too, only there are no numbers on these card. Hard to find what to colour :p |
|
Lol, good call, I'll try to upload a new one myself soon :) |

plz use the max aloud cpu speed, or fase my *** in ur face :D |
3 Attachment(s) These test where only done @ 3001 Mhz, nothing more. 3D mark thinks it's higher, but it isn't. my complete paintjob : and, memorymhz does matter ..... |

Install chipset drivers John? Mobo isn't recognised... |
Yup latest from the Intel site:) |
I'm having a great time here, long time since.... Feeling a year younger :p Great card, if memory serves me well.... You can think what you want about my last phrase, but hell, I'm happy to take first spot :) |
Ok, did the pencilmod, it works. 30mhz extra on the core : 710/1010 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9220345 Who will break 200 fps ? |

Nah, just words :) I mean on stock aircooling, not your fancy cooling :p |

Yeah, looks like I have that handpicked one :) I only miss on persone here, that's Calantak. Where the **** is he ? |

Like I said, just words :p |

wtf you ****** ^^ mod seems to be working 698/880 :) tommorow more testing... 200fps was easy though... |
200fps with those clocks? You're using NVHP right? |
Quote:
93.71 used by gamer are slower for clocks and speeds then 94.24 100.XX are almost the same then 94.24 and there is 1 fUGLY driver that has an advantage of nearly +8fps :p |
So, please share :) |
Indeed, this is TEAM .be ;p |
Good call. Checked some scores on Futuremark, and my guess is : 91.47. |

www.velleman.be for VR Gamer |
Gotron.be should have it also, will look it up in a moment. |
Ok, got a multimeter, 10 and 20Kohm VR, Solderpen, solder 0,7 and a 10Kohm resistor. How do I use these ? :) From what ive learnd, Pin one is the one that goes to the card. Pin 2 and 3 are ground. If I solder ground left = pin 2, it should be more volts when I turn it left ? Correct ? |
Pin 1 or 3 should be soldered to FB and pin 2 to GND. The difference between 1 and 3 is the way you must turn. Make sure the resistence between both pins is 20k ohms (if you use the 20k ohm vr) before you mod the card! |
can I use a 10Kohm resistor instead ? Oh, and it's a 25Kohm VR I have. Would like to use the 10Kohm resistor instead, don't know how to measure it if I turn it to much :) |
1) Turn the VR to one side until you hear it clicking. That means the max resistence is reached. 2) Measure resistence between Pin1/Pin3 and Pin2 of the VR. One will give you +/- 10K ohm (if you use the 10k ohm VR), the other will give +/- 0 ohm. 3) If pin1 and pin2 give you +/- 10k ohm, solder Pin1 to the FB pin of the chip and Pin2 to GND. 4) Measure the voltages at the voltage readout points given by Geoffrey. 5) Don't want to go too fast. Everytime you turn the vr, check the voltage. |
