No way to realign them ? due to overtightened cooling ? I showed MM the pin that seemed to be +/- misaligned ( but that was in the middle of the socket, not on the edge )

I'm awaiting an update on the Classie board ( to be fully I9 compatible) and will buy one then via Alternate... what a setback this is :(

I tried Corsair Dominators PC12800C8 rev 1.1 and OCZ Blade PC16000C7 6gb kits, first dimm slot seemed dead to me...

installing os, next stop mount cascade and insulation.

Contacted EVGA Europe, I'll ship the motherboard to Germany tomorrow.
Hope they can fix it, if the socket isn't damanged :(

Contacted Peter Tan (Shamino) and he asked a guy from EVGA if they can rebuild the socket.
If the motherboard returns unrepaired, I'll ship it to Shamino and maybe he can fix it.

Oh, and my Dell 1730 died completly today :( :( :( :(

its been bad luck all arround the place, frezer died here, drivers licence ****, cascade buggy, and so on.

that compo is as good as dead, gets zero PR, only once every few months some manufacturers want to boost their product scores, even if they finished 4th or 10th; funny stuff:)
