Any update on that coldplate kit? When is it due?

@DUR0N: a bad overclocking GF DDR :grum:
well, with an TNT2 ultra you won't get any improvement

if you had got an 8mb card or so, it would

yup, coz mine is present but I promised the use of it to JMke for review on amd and intel as I have both mounting units...
and for the fun, I'll give him my untested pal 6035 modded ti4600 too, we need to get His Majesty, our webmasta, in the top three of all webmasta's on the orb, and with this equipment that'll be easy!

chipcon rulez, I sent them the mail that the adaptorkit wouldn't fit my Abit th7-II, and I have received a new adaptorkit especially designed for the abit th7-II this very morning... about one week after I sent them the mail!

I have ordered a unit about 2 weeks ago, and got word today from Maxxxpert Korea that they are stopping to sell mx-eva3 until they get a hold on the problems that people encountered with their units. They state that they only want to sell quality products and that they will maybe be ready with the upgrading by the end of the month.
someone received this when ordering an unit...

owkay.
some of you might actually take interest in what I'm going to tell now

I've just been testing my prometheia after ten days of unused waiting

first mounting was a damn bore due to the fact that the mounting unit is actually imperfect...even the specific abit th7-II unit...the whole mounting procedure is quite lengthy anyway...

first run : no boot.

I decided to break the whole thing down and do it again.
second try went twice as fast leading to the conclusion that after five or six mounts you'll do this eyes closed.
second time around I put 7 spacers on each screw... beat me to that, quite some pressure on that cpu

second boot, easy into windows.

some results, screens will follow when I'm back home (in about a week)
room temp 27°C
idle evap temp : -42°C when booting wOOtwOOt

idle temp @ 2800 mhz with 1.78Volts : cpu temp on MBM : -17°prime stressed temp @ 2800 mhz and 1.78 volts :-7°C

I went straight into windows @16*186 ~3 ghz : that's a 90% overclock!
above that I get pagefaults... and I think it's the ram that's keeping me down... that pc800 can't do more than 186*3 = 558mhz... sisoft runs @ 186 : about 3950-4000!!!

i'll see what i'll get with the abit bd7-II with pc 3200...

First thoughts... get me a 2.26 and i'll go steaming to 3.2 or get me some more voltage... prometheia rulez!

only fact is that i'll really break down that ****ty case...and put another case on that one.

any more results from you, fred perry?
