| 533>400FSB P4 wire trick I want to let my gigabyte 845PE motherboard think my 2.4B 533FSB is actually a 100FSB proc, so I can use the 3:4 mem divider. Does anyone knows how?

| No, i'm just talking about the default FSB of the proc. 400 instead of 533, multi stays the same. I know it's possible. And there's a guide on xtreme...

| No, underclocking in the bios doesn't make the 3:4 mem divider available. Only if the mobo recognizes the proc as a 100FSB one, i can select 3:4.
