ideal, I was looking for something like this I'd like to put a 120mm fan in the exact same position over my SLK800, so that it cools the northbridge heatsink a little too

if the fan keeps working it won't

but if the fan fails, the heatsink will get up to 50-70° :/

i think it can take more then 100° before it starts melting
i did a little look-up, and paper starts burning at +200°

i think it's pretty safe

once the CPU fanconnector died on one of Lapino's mobo's (and so his Duron)

the HS was a full cupper equipped with a papst fan... I've got the fan right here: it got loose from the HS just because the extremely hot screws burnt through the fan itself :wtf:

i'm also planning to put a 120mm in the door of my case, but i have a question, which 120mm fan would i take? and where would i buy it?

I would leave the fan on my cpu-HS though...

And something about those fangrills, don't they obstruct the airflow too much?
