Using a TEC/Peltier for CPU cooling is nothing new, water cooling lovers have been doing it for years, the MACS Triumph is a TEC powered unit for the air cooling folks, it performs best at high CPU wattage, something overclockers tend to unleash is current and older processors. Letīs find out if the Triumph can keep successfully keep your CPU and its own TEC cool.

if only time allows it (moving is quite time consuming); I'm changing my test setup to S775 soon, no further K8 coolers planned for testing. (I already test the Scythe Infinity, and CNPS8000, those will be the last ones published and tested on that platform)

So I'm starting from scratch, will re-test with Scythe Ninja for reference value, paired with Papst 120mm fan. that's for "soon". for now, the K8 system has served its purpose and I'm going to sell it. K8 is no longer a current platform, its either AM2 or S775, and looking at the market place, it seems Core 2 is doing better, so S775 it is!
