Default Geil Mushkin OCZ - PC3x00 AMD Performance

The world has moved on, as they say. If you have an AMD setup and you want new low latency memory you have to start searching.. hard. The once widely available BH-5 which claimed the top spot in many overclockers’ wish lists, is no more. In search for the next best thing we have here today a variety of memory modules which were send to us for review.

Good article, and it saves me money. I WAS going to upgrade my PC2700 1x512 Apacer running 10.5x200 3-4-4-9. After I ran Sisoft (Int 2971, Float 2702) and looked up the table, I've just saved some money. Thanks Jmke.

so if you want one gig of very powerfull memory, the best choice would be to get four stixx of 2ndhand bh5, will they guaranteedly work TOGETHER on an a64 board?

has anyone tested overclockability with four stixx?

Mobo has only 3 slots.

Intel testing is done, check the last 2 pages of the article for the update, the last page includes some nifty (handy?) graphs to give you an idea of what performance you can obtain with each pair of memory sticks
