Default Alphacool CORA 662 Passive Water Cooling Kit Review

Alphacool is known for their high quality and high performance water cooling systems. Today we take their best performing water block and mate it with CORA, their new passive radiator, aiming to build a fast, yet silent system.

Amazing; it translates to ~0.09 c/w and better

~200watts of thermal * 0.09 = 18°C

18°C + 20°C ambient temp = 38°C CPU temp

It would be nice to compare it with the best air cooler; say the Thermalright 120.

impressive results. Have you also tried it with some kind of table fan or other thing that provides some airflow over the rads, just for the fun ?

Hi all

Great review so-

Bought one last week and it fits on socket 939 without an issue

very pleased with it - have clamped my radiators together and after reading the review again will go for spacing them with the stand u got or make one. got it free ATM and trying a free different locations heights ( have my PCs in a cupboard with doors and two 100mm pipes externally vented with fans - so just seeing where it works best ATM )

Quiet - u dont know its on

'jmke' - The stands u got did the radiators 'sang' in the middle over time as only the end ones where supported?
