NZXT Zero Case Contest [USA Only] In cooperation with NZXT we are proud to announce this give-away contest of a high end ATX case, the ZERO. In Liquid3D's review this case proved to supply tons of airflow at low noise levels. Now this case can be yours (if you live in the USA) by entering this contest. What you need to do in order to qualify: * Take a picture of the inside of your current PC case (max size 1000 width) * sign up at the forums * Reply to this thread with details of your PC config & attach the photo That's it! We will pick the lucky winner on 31st of March 2007. |
My entry 1 Attachment(s) Please count me in! Great idea for the contest. I mean, seriously, who can say that can't take a picture? Here is my system... |

1 Attachment(s) lol@ Das my system: A64 3700+ DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra D 2 Gig G.Skill PC4000 HZ XFX 7800GT OCZ GamersXStream 850W CM Stacker STC-T01 120mm intake; 120mm exhaust |
1 Attachment(s) Well here's my setup. I have a brand name computer :( It's an Hp a1630n Specs: AMD athlon 64 X2 5200+ 250g HDD 2gb ram Motherboard: some asus made for hp's ATI X1300 pro Stock case from hp |
Wow nessmaster you got a nice rig ;-D |
1 Attachment(s) Nice to see some familiar fellas here...:o :D Anyway, here's my spec :D : AMD X2 3800+ @ 2.4GHz (240x10) CoolerMaster Hyper 6+ CPU Cooler eVGA nF4 PCI-E SLI 2x1GB OCZ XTC 2-3-3-8 Leadtek 8800GTX @ 630/2100 250GB W.D SATA II + 120GB Maxtor SATA II Mushkin P-650W Thermaltake Soprano (Black) Case Creative Audigy 2 LG DVD-RW SATA Altec Lansing AVS-500 Sound System Viewsonic VX2235WM 22" Wide-Screen LCD |
2 Attachment(s) Here's my setup I just have gotten up and running. Its a DFI lanparty nf590 with a Opteron 1218 running too damn hot under the TT silent 939 80mm cooler. 2gigs of super talent ddr2, msi 7900gs, samsung sata dvd-rw, WD 300 ide hard disk, and last but certainly least a ultra v-series 600w PSU. Everything is running stock frequencies until I get a better cooling solution, cause it needs WAY more cooling! I've got a cooler master elite 331 I might stick this in but I'm thinking a larger case and some water cooling. BTW I love the site lots of great reviews. Really talented writers. |
Jason, I could definatly tell you have no problems with airflow lol. :-p |
1 Attachment(s) Man, you wouldn't know it by the cpu temps... 60C+ at load... but i think it'll calm down... hopefully... |
1 Attachment(s) Here is my current setup, will probably move over to Intel with the forthcoming price drops.
:) |
Very clean setup Munter ;) |
Just to reiterate, there are a few minor details missing from a few posts, no big deal, but when it's time to name the winner such details may make the difference. This is a Case give-a-way so please name the current case in your system specs. And your components should be IN the case when you photogragh it so we can theorize what the airflow (problem) is, which leads me to my next point. It would REALLY help to mention fan compliment (of the case). If you honestly don't have a case then your pulling too hard on my heart strings and also violating Rule number one: 1.) Take a picture of the inside of your current PC case (max size 1000 width) 2.) sign up at the forums 3.) Reply to this thread with details of your PC config & attach the photo |
Listen to the man :) |
Isn't today March 30th Friday? We said March 31st "Friday" how about we give everyone until March 31st Saturday evening 6PM (midnite your time) to edit, or post? US Naval Atomic Clock |
sure:) |
Just wondering, is my post ok? I dont really have much details on the computer becuase it is out of my hands. Brand name computers are like that. I hope you understand :( I resized my picture too. |
all good , thanks:) |
Cool :) |
1 Attachment(s) Ok here's a pic of my setup in the cooler master elite 331 case. Its kinda cluttered until I get a couple of tie wraps. Case has a 140 mm fan in back (stock cooler master), and a thermaltake 140 mm in front not installed in picture... Idle temps are 38c-39c. Load temps 53c-56c. All other specs are still the same. |
Ok, I fixed my original post...but is this contest a random draw? Just curious. |
1 Attachment(s) Ok, here it is in all it's glory. Feel free to laugh...I do. It's a ABIT IC7 MB P4 2.8 CPU Radeon 9800XT 3 GB DDR 160 GB HD Seagate Cooled by a 80mm in front of the HD and two 80mms in the back. Little dusty in here. |
CDU, how can you have 3gb of ram, when (to me) it seems like you have 4 stick of Kingston in there? Other than that, a little dust blower could solve the problem and some tie-wraps :) .... Oh yeah.... I can see it now...that could be a really "clean" case... |

it works perfectly as long as all sticks can support same timings & speeds. |

4 Attachment(s) Heyy Whasup guys? I've been lurking for a while, and this case contest has really spurred me into finally creating an account. My pc consists of: e6400@ 3.34 (sweetspot for core 1, though cpu#2 can hit 3.5 and be stable:mad:) 2gb of 667 mhz at 850 mhz ga-965p-ds3 a 300 gb and a 40 gb dvd burner (soon to get a sata dl) last and least a 7600 gs (until my 7600gt returns from rma) As you can see from pic number 4, i decided that the back plate of the mobo was getting pretty hot, and there was no way to dissipate that heat so i dremeled and added a couple of fans to pull hot air off the mobo. It culminated in a 5-8 degreee (celsius) difference which, was worth it. Sorry about the mess around my room. More on the cooling, i have four 90 mm fans in the front bottom to draw in cool dense air from close to the floor. To the left of my cpu cooler (big typhoon which can be found at newegg open box for ~25$) are 2 90 mm fans and a 120 mm. (Notice the duct work with clear packing tape lol). |
Should i resize and repost my pics? I noticed they were 1200X. Also where does the name Madshrimps come from? Thanks! |
Here's my entry: CPU: Pentium D 830 CPU cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 6+ mobo: ABIT NI8 SLI PSU: Thermaltake Purepower 680W case: Antec P150 RAM: 2GB Mushkin 5300 video card: XFX & MSI 7800GTX in SLI hd: 320GB & 80GB Seagate sound: SB Audigy 2 ZS optical: Pioneer DVD burner & Lite-On CD burner My airflow is the stock 120mm fan that came with the Antec P150 case at the front, and a 92mm fan that I added. Airflow isn't the greatest because of all of the cables (no modular PSU :() and the smaller form factor of the case. I did what I could with the space that I had :P |

Just looking out for you bro. Good luck ;-) |

Your pics are fine. |
pics are fine, forum code does auto resize if larger than max but takes longer to upload them:) background on the name Madshrimps can be found here: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=about :) |
OK my PEEPS here's the big announcement. First of all there were several people who really seemed to need a case which made the decision difficult. Because I wanted to give away several cases and other stuff, I've decided to step-up donations from my "Lab" here at the East Coast, USA location of [M]. I will be giving away more review (with manufacturer's permission) and personal hardware in the near future, so stay tuned.
Please PM me or email me at liquid3d@madshrimps.be or keithsuppe@comcast.net Thanks to NZXT for supplying their product. |
