Ik doe ook mee, maar ik ben nog ff bezig met de tekeningen en de ontwerpen...

Is het ook de bedoeling dat we deze kast achteraf ook daadwerkelijk modden?

this is my mod ....

I think i covered most of it on the pic ... the water idea would completely work with a small water pump from a pet store... and the LED fins.. let me explain.....

The fins would come out from the corner each at thier own angle... maybe ill put them on small hinges hell I dont know? At each corner I would drill a small hole maybe 3/8 whatever would fit the led. Then I would pull out the old dremel to rough up the surface or maybe mirror the plexi fins so the LED's would shine a little better. The LED's go in thru the parrallel port so you can make them dance thru winamp or whatever. . . . ( the WINAMP LED's are a borrowed mod, but stuck with my plexi fin twist to give a cool effect).... Also the cut out corner were the fins are make for a good vent ... just slap a fan up there.....

I present my case :

- PSU with changed cover, with led in it.
- Underneath the PSU a small Blacklight CCFL
- 5 UV reactive BLUE fans with each 4 blue leds
- Rounded cables CHROME version with a molex attached to it.
- Molex mod with 2 leds in each of them (Blue & Red)
- Small etch with [M]ADSHRIMPS.COM
- HDD meter in front, all blue leds and the 2 last Red
- 5" or 7" LCD in the unused drivebays
- Small rheobus from eksitdata that goes in the floppy drive, modded to fit in a plexy front and not LIANLI like
- Small [M] logo in front
- PSU wires shortened and removed the ones that are not needed.
- 2 Blue CCFL on each side of the front.
- New "mat" plexy feet with blue leds in them. This will give a glowing effect. Case floating on blue
- Pioneer slot-in dvdplayer in full plexy casing
- 40Gig Hdd specialy window modded for the occasion
- neato fangrill from Cosh ( Lüftergitter 'Tri-YingYang' 80mm )

Default ok here it is resized

ok ok I got it right this time... but you cant read the descriptions now... all that time flushed ... just scroll up a few to the bigger image............................................. .........................................

MY idea is to make water splashing down from the corner....

1- id have to make a plexi water resevoir at the bottom of the whole case then put a little pet store fish tank pump in there...

2- slap a stainless steel flex toilet lead to the pump for looks and run a clear water tube to the corner were I got the polished alluminum cap...

3- If I wanted to fork out the cash I could proabably even just water cool the whole system.....

4- the colored lines on the right are 4 fins that angle out from the corner.... they will have holes drilled in each side with LEDs fitted in... The leds run from the parrallel so you can set it to some music and get the whole case to ligth up...

5- the middle would have your common store bought mods .... rounded uv IDE's , plexi fan grills, uv fans , uv PS cover , split loom the cables yada yada.... maybe even a window cut on the top cd-rom

6- I may even float around on ebay see what I could get a 5" LCD for and tie into the front panel.... shoot a custom video and give the pc a personality... ...
