| Lowering the multiplier, I had a FSB up to 570MHz, couln't get higher. Check http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=577737 Raised the multi back to 10x, but even at 1.8V, the CPU can't get over 5.55GHz SPi1M-stable, and I have tried about every setting :/ |

My settings: http://www.johanlemaire.be/OC/E8600/...20Settings.JPG Generally, these readouts are the same as set in the BIOS, except the CPU Ref, CPU Ref2 and MCH Ref. I had those at 0.78, 0.836 and 0.796 respectively in the BIOS. But I tried lower and higher values, to no avail Yes, pencilmod. But if I raise the shaderclock too much, I have to keep lower gpu and memory-clocks, with lower performance. | |

| Which Pl is that on Johan ? I would give 1.36NB voltage, MCH reference around 0.74 a shot, works fine on my EP45 UD3P till 580FSB... I have noticed on the Rampage extreme if I can't pass that memtest 7 test, that 3druns would be pretty hard to do... P45 remains a very sensitive chipset regarding volts... Here's the run we did with Blind for the GOOC qualifiers I had issues with benching 3D over 5.6Ghz due to heat, maybe that's ya issue too Last edited by leeghoofd : 1st June 2009 at 20:43. |
