The event was open to the general public and held near the Taipei computer market, although the rain seemed to have kept most of the spectators away. The teams had plenty of time to set up their rigs, although some experience fatal motherboard problems even before they've got the systems up and running properly.

The competition consisted of two benchmarks, SuperPi 1M and 3DMark01 SE and the team that scored the highest overall performance growth for the two benchmarks would win the competition. The SuperPi 1M benchmark was creamed by the Indonesian team, beating the Greek team by a massive 4.5 percent.
