Default Asus 7600GT

Voltage of the GPU
  • Standard voltage = 1.39v
  • IC: RT9259A
  • Link to datasheet
  • FB = pin4 = 154.2 ohm => 5k VR between pin4 and GND (pin7)
  • OCP present

Voltage of the MEMORY
  • Standard voltage = 1.98v
  • IC: RT9214
  • Link to datasheet
  • FB = pin6 = 608 ohm => 10k VR between pin6 and GND (pin3)
  • OCP present
  • Memory type: HYB18H512321AF-14
  • Maximum voltage determined by manufacturer: 2.5V

Voltage measurements

OC results

Stock: 620/855
Better air: 638/868

-will update with increased voltage-

Not really a great card. Needs 1.7V+ to run core at 750-ish on air. Mem can do 880MHz at 2.2V, not really that much increase over stock volts. Not over 900MHz!

Although temps aren't that high (< 60°C), it may very much be possible that subzero temps will make a significant difference. The very little artifacts seem to be shader domain related, which in itself is very much temperature related. Another possibility is to bios-mod the card and clock the shaders a bit lower than 1:1 with core.

It's an EVGA it seems, will test it this week how high it can go on the classified.
