Default Kiefer Sutherland To Star In Call Of Duty: World at War

Kiefer Sutherland can make anything better, and that includes World War II shooters. Just ask Activision and Treyarch, who announced that the 24 star will be joining the cast of Call of Duty: World at War, along with a bevy of other details at their E3 press event.

Treyarch head Mark Lamia took the stage to reveal new details about the upcoming Pacific theater shooter, calling it the "grittiest Call of Duty ever." The new trailer did its best to back him up, featuring troops moving through the night, more shots of the ever-present flamethrower frying a tank, a Japanese soldier running an American through with his katana, and, of course, Kiefer Sutherland.

Multiplayer fans will also be happy to know that online cooperative play has been introduced for this go-around. Up to four players will be able to play through the campaign together, with a two player splitscreen mode also available.

Online co-op and Kiefer Sutherland? Sounds like we're off to a good start.
