ViewSonic has introduced a new high-definition media player that allows owners to easily view 1080p content on HDTVs and PCs.

The device supports multiple types of video content, ranging from DivX/XviD and WMV9 to RMVB — and multiple audio formats also are supported, which is a feature that some competing products severely lack. ViewSonic designed the product so that it is able to easily and quickly transfer content between an HDTV and the device. It measures 8.03-inches x 1.5-inches x 5.5-inches, and weighs less than one pound.
