![]() | Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX Overall, we are really impressed with the Big Typhoon VX and Thermaltake should be proud of their creation. Although we didn’t quite like the built-in fan controller, we are very happy to work with the Big Typhoon VX because it installs like a stock cooler. Motherboard removal is not necessarily required and it takes only less than 10 minutes to get things done. Build quality was good but we would love to see a shinier copper base. Performance wise, the Big Typhoon VX is currently the best among the rest and we believe it is the most powerful CPU cooler we have reviewed up to date. Users seeking to build a silent PC will also love this cooler because it was able to perform very well, even at low fan speeds. Priced at USD$53 / RM195, the Big Typhoon VX is a very good bargain considering you get a decent 120mm fan and a nice packaging too
