| Thermalright HR-05 Chipset Cooler Tested on Asus ASUS A8N-SLI Premium The HR-05 design makes more sense and although motherboard manufacturers will never be able to use such a design, manufacturers like Thermalright can. Given the fact that the HR-05 stands 10.5cm tall, it can capture quite a lot of passing air. As a result the stress test temperature was very impressive, reaching just 48 degrees. Adding a 60mm fan greatly improved the cooling performance of the HR-05, reducing temperatures to just 31 degrees. The idle temperature went as low as 26 degrees, which was a huge improvement.
