| Sunbeamtech Core Contact Freezer When you think of Sunbeamtech, images of pimp cases probably comes to mind, though you would be remiss if you didn't recall their revered CPU heatsink marketed under their Tuniq brand, the Tuniq Tower. A beast of a cooler, it was highly-esteemed for quite some time until new technologies began to take over. It appears that Sunbeamtech, not to be complacent, has rebounded with a new cooler incorporating some of these new technologies; namely the Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) design. The Core Contact name sounds like a derivative (or is it the same?) of HDT, but regardless of what you call it, this cooling technology is paving the way for new coolers, and it looks like Sunbeamtech has something very good on their hands. On the test bench today is Sunbeamtech's Core Contact Freezer, which offers Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology, a newer trend in tower-style heatsinks, and promises some efficient cooling numbers. http://www.pureoverclock.com/article665.html
