Default STALKER: Clear Sky Performance Review ~ 11 Video Cards Compared

In higher resolutions at least, the graphics cards with a lot of video memory can beat their less equipped competitors. The Geforce 8800 GTX for example is 14 percent faster than the 9800 GTX+ at 1,680 x 1,050. AMD's HD 4800s are doing quite well - we cannot confirm the rumors from Russian forums that the Radeon cards would deliver insufficient performance only. The Geforce GTX 260 seems to suffer from driver related problems.

Stalker: Clear Sky doesn't use more than a single core. Solely the graphics driver sometimes uses an additional CPU core sometimes. Therefore gigahertz and the performance per clock are important.

Another poorly coded game. God knows I loved the first one. I've modded it to bits but I don't think I can stand another buggy experience.

the inherent flaws of the original engine are still there; much as I expect Crysis Warhead to scale poorly with CF/SLI
