 |  Sony Ups Holographic Storage Speed More Than 30 Fold Sony has increased the speed of its holographic storage system by more than 30 times – from 3 Mbps to 107 and 92 Mbps when writing and playing back, respectively. Development isn’t stopping there, as Sony aims to multiply things by 10 to hit transfer rates of 1 Gbps with further refinements to its system. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=7465
