Default SOLTEK Officially Launched The First K8 Mini Barebone System (nForce3 250Gb)

Taipei, TAIWAN -April 14, 2004 - Soltek Computer Inc. officially launched its EQ3801 series, the First NVIDIA nForce3-250Gb based mini barebone system available to the market. Featuring the next-generation architecture complementing the latest AMD Athlon 64 CPUs, the EQ3801 series offers an unparalleled range of system performance and media processing abilities.
Driven by the ever-increasing demand for system performance, Soltek launched its first K8 mini barebone, QBIC EQ3801 series, to satisfy the users who are looking for barebone solutions that can offer blistering platform performance and handle the processing, storing, and distribution of huge amount of digital content.

Based on the powerful nVIDIA nForce3-250Gb chipset, QBIC EQ3801 Series offers the support for AMD Socket-754 64-bit CPUs, and is optimized for the emerging 64-bit operating systems and applications. Combined with the cutting edge I/O and multimedia features such as Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE1394, SATA RAID, USB2.0 and 8-channel audio, the QBIC EQ3801 series is the ultimate barebone solution for power users to experience high-speed connectivity for today's network and to get more work done by delivering the best system performance.

In addition to brilliant system performance, the competitive dimension makes QBIC EQ3801 series the smallest mini barebone that offers two 5.25"device bays. The enhanced power supply unit coupled with a solid mainboard full of overclocking features and an efficient cooling system, the QBIC EQ3801 series offers an overall performance upgrade. The expansion connectors on both front and back panels offer incredible expansion capacity and outstanding upgrade flexibility. And the IcyQ technology developed by SOLTEK itself makes QBIC the quietest barebone on the competitive market.

As for its control panel, harmonious mirror-phase, mirror white and the aluminum plate are the choices available on EQ3801 series. The mirror phase matching with the black cover tells you a sedate QBIC while the aluminum matching with the aluminum cover reflects the taste of high technology.

Overall, QBIC mini barebone is hard to find its peer. Particularly EQ3801 series is a rock solid performer with features that any system enthusiast, hardcore gamer, and especially power user will appreciate.
