HTPCs are gaining popularity among computer system builders. With digital movies, and the streaming media market growing every day more and more people want a computer hooked to their television for entertainment. They donít want an ugly computer sitting in their living room either. Enter the Silverstone Grandia GD05. This beautiful chassis combines sleek lines with a black brushed aluminum finish to bring computing into your living room.

not really no. With PopCorn Hour and similar devices popping up in stores worldwide at <$100 it becomes very hard to justify the asking price for a PC next to your TV. Sure you get more options and customization, but this also means a longer set up time, higher power usage, more noise (if you don't invest in quality cooling gear), and you'll most likely end up paying $400+ for the hardware alone. And in the $90 for a HTPC case and you are close to 5x the asking price of a small media player which does its thing just fine.

for recording video from TV you'll have to invest into HTPC, in many countries digital TV is encrypted and you're not always able to record data via your HTPC.
