Default Shuttle slips SLI in a shoebox

SHUTTLE HAD A LOT of new goodies at the show this year, but they all kind of looked the same. There are three main chassis in the stable. The guts were all new though, and some were astoundingly cool. Need SLI in a shoebox or a 20" flat panel that would fit on an executive desk? Need a desk to match the PC? You know where to look.

The first thing I noticed was the 20" monitor. And unlike the older Shuttle 'aluminum grab handle' monitors, this one stays planted. It is a 16*9 aspect ratio high-rez monitor with a few tricks. The main trick is that it has a wide triangular base and it pivots on the bottom. If you need to lean it back, the hinge is along the entire lower edge. As far as I have seen, it is unique and quite elegant. The other bit is the rez, WSXGA+, or 1680*1050 with an 8ms response time, and it will do PiP. I want one, well, three actually, but one will do for a start.

Not cool enough for you? How about a twin heat-piped - per car, mind you - SLI rig in a Shuttle P chassis. It is a really elegant setup, and the cards and cooler come with the XPC SN26P so you don't have to do much fiddling. The cards are 6800GTs, so this thing should be a performance monster, cool and quiet all the while. Look for it in a few weeks, but it won't be all that cheap, 6800GTs are fairly spendy by themselves.
