| Shuttle extends product line supporting Intel Core 2 Duo processors Solution for home and business users announced: The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2 [attachment] image (c) www.ixbt.com - shows XPC series Shuttle barebone Shuttle Inc., the worldwide leading designer and maker of Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs and accessories introduces the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2, a new SFF PC to support Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The latest SFF PC is based on the popular G2 chassis design, features the Intel 945G chipset, and supports Intel Core 2 Duo, Pentium D, Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2 has been especially designed for the home and business environment. It offers exceptional value for money, yet has all the features of a conventional PC. Thanks to its PCI-Express x16 expansion slot, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2 can utilise the latest graphics cards. Furthermore, an additional PCI slot is available for even more expansion cards. 8-channel sound, six USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit-LAN and the capacity for up to two Gigabytes of RAM complete the package. The integrated 250W SilentX power supply also provides for a particularly silent operation. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2 will be available from the end of October for €265 plus VAT. The new SFF PC is also available as a fully configured unit in the Shuttle Systems Configurator. Shuttle recommends the following configuration: Shuttle XPC G2 3200H * Based on: Shuttle XPC Barebone SD32G2 * Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 * 1 GB DDR2-533 (2x512 MB) * ATI Radeon X1900XT * 300 GB hard disk * DVD dual layer writer * Microsoft Windows XP Home * Power DVD * 22-in-1 card reader * 24 months of Pick-up-and-Return-Service Recommended Retail Price: €1,135 plus VAT Single components can be exchanged individually in the Shuttle Systems Configurator.
