![]() | Seagate has now expanded its storage offer with a new Constellation ES hard drive, the first 2TB enterprise class HDD to feature a SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) 6.0 Gbps interface. Seagate's 3.5-inch drive works at 7200 RPM (rotations per minute), and boasts a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 1.2 million hours, the PowerChoice optimized power and cooling technology, 16MB of buffer memory (the SATA model has 64MB of cache), and a dual processor which enables a maximum transfer rate of 150 MB/s. http://www.tcmagazine.com/comments.php?id=32814&catid=2
