Radeon X1k, Core 2 Duo E6300 et FEAR - Bug at 2ghz
When I finished all my benchmarks, I saw that results where not good in FEAR. I asked to another editor to tell me what were his results and they were very higher for ATI cards, but the same for NVIDIA cards.
So I did many tests, set up many different systems and results were the same.
For a X1900XT 256 Mo, 1600x1200, 16x/4X filtering : 31 FPS instead of 45/50.
Finally, I found that the CPU was causing all that because its frequency was under 2 GHz.
When I put the frequency to 2 GHz (8x 250 MHz) result become 47 FPS...
