 | PC Shipments Rise 13.1% for the First Quarter PC shipments continue the upwards march according to the latest market numbers from Gartner and IDC. Gartner's research showed that overall PC shipments surged 13.1% during the first quarter bringing total shipments of x86 desktops, servers and notebooks to 57 million.
