![]() | I'm gonna hike on to this thread... with current games needing a tad more memory, would it be worth it to put another 256 mb module in a 2*256 mb nforce2 system? coz there's only three slots, so you can't put more in ![]() would you lose dual channel performance? (does that matter?)

![]() | in painkiller on this system for instance (xp @ 2300 mhz and radeon 9800pro @ 450/720 with 512 ram) I have great framerates (100+) but every now and then it slows down for 1 1/2 seconde as it's like koading from the hdd, without fraps giving framedrops. maybe another 256 mb could solve some of this?
