NVIDIA Updates Professional Quadro FX Lineup with New Products
NVIDIA Corp. has updated its lineup of professional graphics accelerators – Quadro FX – with new offerings that serve high-end and ultra high-end market segments. One of the newcomers – Quadro FX 4500 – is based on the company’s latest GeForce 7 graphics architecture.
GeForce 7 Goes Professional
Both of the newly introduced Quadro FX products – 3450 and 4500 – support Shader Model 3.0, Open EXR HDR lighting and other capabilities provided by both GeForce 6 and GeForce 7 desktop generations of graphics processors. In addition, the products sport caps exclusively available on the Quadro-series accelerators thanks to special drivers and software suites.
The most advanced Quadro FX model presently is 4500, which is based on the GeForce 7 architecture, thus, provides the highest speed possible.
