| Nvidia's "Can of whoop ***" chipset is on the way It's been a while since users actually benefited from a feud between companies and Intel vs. AMD in the past was one of the best examples, but this time it’s Intel versus Nvidia. So, since Nvidia threatened “opening a can of whoop ***,” it was only fair to deliver on that promise. Nvidia’s delivery comes in a form of a single-chip integrated chipset for “small factor notebooks” as Nvidia claims. MCP79 features a DX10 Geforce graphics controller with Shader Model 4.0, Nvidia’s VP3 video processor and HybridPower/HybridSLI/Hybrid Performance. Furthermore, MCP79 comes with a single-channel TMDS interface for HDMI 1.2, 1066MHz FSB, 800MHz DDR2, 1333MHz DDR3 support, 3Gpbs SATA/eSATA, Nvidia DriverCache, GbE controller, High Definition Audio, TPM 1.2 and up to 20 PCIe 2.0 lanes. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...23&Ite mid=35
