| NVIDIA Forceware 177.92 vs 175.19 Performance Comparison with 9800 GTX In 177.92 release note, NVIDIA hints that 177.92WHQL versus v175.19 WHQL driver can show lots of improvements: # Single GPU increases up to 11% in 3DMark Vantage (performance preset) # Single GPU increases up to 11% in Assassin’s Creed DX10 # Single GPU increases up to 15% in Bioshock DX10 # Single GPU increases up to 15% in Call of Duty 4 # Single GPU increases up to 8% in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars In our test with 9800GTX+ setup, 177.92 does very well, but not as good as release note saids. We can see there is no any improvements in Bioshock, and in other games the new driver showed us some improvement but still not good enough. http://en.expreview.com/2008/08/29/d...7519-vs-17792/
