![]() | If you recall, two years or so ago, ATI could not pass muster, but in the end, it turned out to be delays and a whole lot of behind the scenes arm twisting. This time however, it is worse for the green team, it looks like it won't get compliance without a time machine and a lot of soldering. This time, the problem is plain and simple incompatibility, we have reports of 8800s not working in several PCIe 8x slots http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=36577

![]() | 8800GTX doesn't work here in top slot of BadAxe(1) Intel mobo, works on in the 2nd one though, don't know if this is the happens with all BadAxe mobos. other vga cards work ok in top PCIe slot
