![]() | I just bought this card, I like it though it is way to loud. little matter though I was planning on buying a block or it anyway. what is better nickle or copper? |

![]() | so nickle is better for heat absorption and it looks better? I think i'll go with the nickle then. The block is already 150 USD anyway if not getting copper costs 20 dollars less what does it matter. ![]() |

![]() | It is not solid nickel, likely copper is underneath. Nickel plating is done purely for cosmetic reasons... |

![]() | yeah that seems reasonable. I was thinking about the specific heat properties of each, and I haven't bother to check but I'm guessing that copper is better at absorbing heat easier but as you mention nickel does look pretty bad *** haha. |
