| Microsoft Xbox 360 to get Blu-ray drive ... again... Toshiba-Samsung Storage Technology Corp. has been contracted to manufacture external Blu-Ray drives for the Xbox 360, according to a report from tech news site Xbit Labs. As the report states, the exact specifications of the drives are unknown, though Microsoft is aiming for a $100 - $150 price point. Not only would this bring the Xbox 360 into line with the PlayStation 3's pricing scheme, but these drives could also handily replace the now-defunct Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive. http://tinyurl.com/4s5g79 |
