| Mass Effect 3 Advertising Deemed 'Not Misleading' Just great, now game publishers are free to say anything they want while they promote their games Well, at least Bioware will learn not to say stupid stuff like "you won't get an A, B, or C ending," knowing full well that is exactly what the fans got (red, green, blue). A ruling from the Advertising Standards Agency determined that, while EA may have overreached a bit in its claims in a Mass Effect 3 ad that "decisions you make completely shape your experience and outcome," the three endings were different enough and the outcomes were determined by how the players performed in the three games. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/06/...ed_misleading/ |
