Default Make Browsing Safer for Children in Google Chrome

If you are worried about the websites that your children could accidentally visit while browsing, then you may want to have a look at the Kid Safe LinkExtend extension for Google Chrome.

Kids can open Internet Explorer or even install Firefox, Opera or Safari, browsers that aren't protected by this extention. Much safer way would be a system wide protection.
It's btw ridiculously easy to disable:

It's in fact harder to re-enable it

And, it also loads the page before checking the safety, so kids could be seeing things that they shouldn't be seeing

So, in my humble opinion, it's a nice addition if you have a system wide protection, but on its own it's a worthless plugin.

thanks for testing this, it's indeed a bit ridicilous to have if you can't password protect it.

on Vista/7 you can very easily lock down what applications can be run, so you can disable FF/IE etc
