Default latest addition to the HUSH™ family of Silent PC's - the HUSH™ ATX

Following phenomenal interest in the new HUSH™ ATX at Computex in Taipei last year, Hush Technologies announce that the new addition to the HUSH™ portfolio of silent PCs is now available to buy.

The new HUSH™ ATX is a clear signal to the industry that silent computing means business. The new powerhouse of the HUSH™ range - totally fan-less, and able to run Intel© Pentium© 4, Celeron and AMD Athlon© XP or Duron© CPUs - the HUSH™ ATX adds flexibility, capacity and power to the silent PC arena.

Low sonic interference, and what is arguably the best looking case in the business, make the HUSH™ ATX ideal for business, multimedia, gaming, design, medical, media, broadcast, audio, libraries, education, the home ... in fact, anywhere where silence, reliability and aesthetics is at a premium.

The new HUSH™ ATX is both easy on the eye and on the ear. It provides increased flexibility and greater choice for a broad cross section of users and industry sectors. The HUSH™ ATX builds on the success and desirability of the HUSH™ Mini ITX range and has achieved what is perhaps the Holy Grail of silent computing - a silent running PC with the power to compete.

"The HUSH™ ATX is the first of a new generation of PCs. No longer do users have to sacrifice performance to achieve even a reasonable level of silence and comfort,' says Markus Kremer, General Manager of Hush Technologies. "This allows PCs into places they might not otherwise be welcome. With the increased power possible in the ATX, it means that there are few remaining limits for the application of silent solutions. We believe it is the Holy Grail, particularly within the converging audio-visual/media centre space, and OEM interest would seem to bear this out."

The HUSH™ ATX benefits from 'the science of silence'. Hush Technologies' unique heat dissipation technology for the CPU, Northbridge and GPU means that there are at last silent solutions for Intel(c) Pentium© 4, Celeron© and AMD Athlon© XP or Duron© CPUs. The HUSH™ ATX is powered by an internal, highly efficient and passively cooled 240W power supply.
